About the Prize Wheel
A prize wheel adds suspense to a giveaway, a classroom reward or a store event. Players watch the wheel slow down and learn their prize in public. This template has eight segments, from a grand prize to a free coffee, with two Try again segments so the best rewards stay rare.
Each prize has a weight that you control. A weight of 1 against 4 means the first appears a quarter as often, and the segment size on the wheel shows it. Prizes stay on the wheel after a win, so the odds are the same for every guest. Replace the sample prizes with your own and show the wheel on a big screen.
How to use it
- Replace the sample prizes with your own, one per line.
- Switch to list mode and set a weight for each prize.
- Leave Remove winner off so the odds stay the same for every player.
- Press Spin for each guest and read the prize aloud.
- Use Share link to open the same wheel on a second screen.

How do I make a prize rarer?
Give it a lower weight than the others. The segment shrinks, and its chance falls in proportion.
Does the wheel respect the weights exactly?
Yes. The selection uses the weights as probabilities, and the fairness check shows expected and observed results over 10,000 spins.
Can I use it for real-money prizes or gambling?
This tool is for entertainment and promotion. Check the laws on raffles and games of chance where you live before you give out prizes.
Is anything I enter stored or uploaded?
No. Entries, settings and results stay in your browser, there is no account, and the page keeps working offline after your first visit.
