About the Random Number Wheel 1-100

The 1 to 100 wheel picks one whole number out of a hundred, each with the same chance. People use it for raffles, number guessing games, classroom draws and choosing a lucky number for a challenge. It is quicker than writing numbered slips, and the spin makes the draw visible to a group.

With a hundred segments the labels are small, so the winner is also shown in a large dialog after the spin. Turn on Remove winner to draw several different numbers in a row, such as five raffle tickets. The entry list is editable, so you can narrow the range to 1 to 50 or remove numbers that are already taken.

    How to use it

    1. Press Spin to draw a number between 1 and 100.
    2. Turn on Remove winner if each number may only be drawn once.
    3. Delete numbers from the list to shrink the range or exclude taken numbers.
    4. Use Results to copy the order of drawn numbers.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I draw several different numbers?

Yes. Turn on Remove winner and spin once for each number you need. Used numbers stay out until you reset.

Why are the labels so small?

A hundred segments leave little room for text. The winning number is shown large in the result dialog, and you can zoom the page if you present on a screen.

Does it include 1 and 100?

Yes. Both ends are on the wheel and have the same chance as any other number.

Is the 1 to 100 wheel fair?

Yes. The winner is picked with the browser's cryptographic random number generator before the animation starts. The fairness check in the menu can run 10,000 simulated draws so you can compare expected and observed results.

Is anything I enter stored or uploaded?

No. Entries, settings and results stay in your browser, there is no account, and the page keeps working offline after your first visit.
